Children’s Worship: Each Sunday the children gather in the Discovery Zone for a time of worship. Our worship services involve games, music, prayer, Bible stories, and  fellowship. We create an environment where kids can connect with God, each other, and Godly adults. Worship services are every Sunday at 8:45AM and 11:00AM

 

Sunday School: We have 5 Sunday school classes. Nursery, Pre-k-K, 1st-2nd grade, 3rd-4th grade, and 5th-6th grade. All the classes except the nursery are in the D-Zone. The Sunday school hour is at 10:00AM every Sunday.  Our Sunday school classes give children an opportunity to go deeper in their faith and understanding of Jesus in a small group setting. We also encourage and provide resources for children and parents to continue this deep study at home.

 

Wednesday Nights:  Our Wednesday nights are usually curriculum driven. We share in a time of large group and small groups for deeper learning of the Bible and Bible truths. Kids meet every Wednesday at 6:30PMin the Discovery Zone.

Bible Quizzing: Bible quizzing is a program that helps kids know and memorize the Bible. Every year our quizzers work to study a different book of the Bible. There are monthly zone quizzes held here in Waverly, a yearly  district quiz held in Nashville, a yearly regional quiz in Atlanta, and every four years a world quiz held in Indianapolis. Our quizzers compete with quizzers from different Nazarene churches in Tennessee, the US and the world. Quizzing is for children in 1st-6th grades.

Summer Camps:Every summer our district has church camps for Nazarene churches across Tennessee. The camps are atCamp Garner Creek in Dickson TN. There are 2 camps. One for 1st-3rd grace and another for 4th-6th grades. They involve daily worship services, prayer and devotion times, crafts, games, pool, creek, and fellowship
